Renaissance Faires have been such a big part of my life for so long… even before I knew what cosplay was, my friends and I were putting together medieval garb to wear around the Faire during our summers, and I think it had a lot to do with what then grew into my love of cosplay.

This was the first year we’ve tried to find a way to combine the two. Our Renaissance outfits are always original/generic characters, nothing too standout, just basically pretending we’re back in the general time period of the Faire. However, this year we decided to try and make Renaissance inspired versions of beloved Disney characters, and it was amazing.
