Hey blog readers! It’s been awhile since I’ve done a Loot Crate unboxing or even really talked about the company online, but they’ve had all sorts of exciting news lately so I think it’s time for a little blog feature.

First of all, they announced last month that they’re now shipping to some countries in Europe! The new countries that can sign up include: Ireland, The Netherlands Sweden, Germany & Norway. This adds to the list that already includes Australia, the UK, Canada & the US! So if you’ve ignored any previous mentions of Loot Crate because you lived in one of the aforementioned countries – your day has come. 

Second piece of big news is that there’s going to be another exciting exclusive in this upcoming month’s box… and it’s of the Funko POP! variety. That’s right – if you’re subscribed to Loot Crate, you will be receiving a Loot Crate only POP! figure that’ll likely become an instant collector’s item, since it wont be available in any stores. They did something similar in last month’s crate with a Rocket Raccoon comic and trust me; it’s already on Ebay.

I’m personally a huge fan of Funko POP! figurines and I can’t wait to find out what it is. The theme this month is “Heroes”, so I can only imagine it’s going to be something great.

It’s time for this week’s video roundup! I know I post a lot of videos, and YouTube has been making it increasingly more difficult to find the videos you want to watch… so here’s a quick post updating you on everything I put online this week.

We are well into October now, but I think there’s definitely still time to talk about the list of things I discovered last month! My September favorites video went live yesterday, and it’s absolutely bursting with all the fun new games I probably shouldn’t have gotten myself quite so addicted to.

I also posted this month’s Loot Crate unboxing video recently, which featured a ton of fun items all related to animation and cartoons… which was totally right up my alley:

And lastly, Team Hypercube put a quick pause on its regular scheduled programming to bring you another BOARD GAME WEEK! This time, we featured Jetpack Unicorn, the game that was created by none other than myself and Joe (in conjunction with Wyrd Miniatures). At VidCon this year I managed to hook up with the people over at Loot Crate — which was a grand decision on my part! I’ll be honest with you. I’ve been at other events that Loot Crate was represented at in the past, and it’s not that I wasn’t interested in it then… but just that at VidCon they were selling My Little Pony Funko Pop! Vinyl Figures. Which instantly attracted me like a bug to a flame. While purchasing said My Little Pony figurine, we started talking, and they welcomed me into their YouTube Loot Crate community. Don’t know what Loot Crate is? Watch the video!

I posted my first unboxing video on my main channel pretty much just to inform people that I’ll be getting these each month, so if you want to catch any subsequent unboxing videos, you’ll want to make sure you’re subscribed to my second channel! I post a lot of casual/supplemental content like this over on that channel, as well as daily vlog type stuff, fanmail videos, and a strange series I call “Questions of the Universe”.

I’m working diligently on getting my Cave Diving/Spelunking video edited… I am so excited to tell you guys all about this crazy adventure I had. That’ll be going up soon, so keep an eye out. I just bought a new handy vlogging camera so I’m playing around with the idea of filming more stuff out and about, which is something I kind of stopped doing for awhile there.
